Hi Folks,

I ran across this news article in a blog today: http://www.ack.net/NatureBlog060215.html

It introduced two botany interns, who are now working on Nantucket Island, here in Massachusetts. If you read the first paragraph of Kaitlyn's intro, you'll see she got stuck in quicksand during her first two weeks there. What a plot line - not like I've ever shot two botanists ever getting into quicksand!!

Just wish I was there to see it - and film it!

Mike

Pretty sure MPV has a video called "Botany Final" or something like that with two botany students getting trapped in a bog.

The idea of a scientist, specimen-collector, etc. getting into qs has been done many times.
