While the chat room here is not heavily used I think it is useful from time to time to post a tip or two that will make its use easier. Here are three, all related to the audible signal iut can be set to produce when someone speaks.

First, the signal has to be turned on to work. There is a setting in "settings" and the sound has to be turned on. The link for that is in the lower right corner of the main chat screen,m right below the "Submit" button.

Second, the audible signal does not work the first time an incoming message is received. Therefor, if you enter the room and want to speak to whomever is there, speak a second time if no one seems to have heard yu the first time.

Third, so far as I can discover, the audible signal does not work at all in Edge. I have no idea why.
