I felt the same way when I found that I liked it. Maybe it something that you can't talk in real life with anyone but you can definily come here an talk to all these wonderful people.

About the girlfriend. i had the same problem. I eventuly told her. She thinks it a little weird but understands, and hey if you really think about it there are a multitude of fetishes much much much worse than women playing in mud.

You will definitely be feeling less alone very soon. Sink in, dig down. You sound like you might be a mud man in the making. There is plenty of material here on the subject of finding your own pit of quicksand and enough of us already doing this to make you feel more normal about real sinking.

And if you eventually decide you like to watch more than sink, we certainly have plenty to look at around here.

Welcome to Quicksand Fans.

Welcome to Quicksand Fans, ht88! :D Sink right in! Make yourself at home! :D

It was around this time in '97 when I first typed the word "quicksand" into a search engine, and discovered the online quicksand community, and was blown away by it! I stayed up until 2 am or later each night for quite some time after that, surfing the sites for quicksand material. :) From that first night onward, I knew I was no longer alone! :D Now, you are no longer alone, either! Welcome to our community! :D
I sink, therefore I WAM!!!!

I am 54 years old with your same interest. So I grew up way pre-internet - did not have any idea that there were any others with this same turn-on. I even got married without revealing the interest (she knows now, good sport but not interested). I envy you a bit - that you are maturing in a technical environment that allows you access to QSfans and other sites.

Welcome, and enjoy.
