Hi Folks,

Newbie here just saying hi! I recently moved to Central Florida from the Pacific Northwest and hope someday to find some safe sinking spots around the Clermont area (near WDW) or beyond. However, since I have never hiked or been in the Florida "back-country," I will wait till I get information on how to be safe from the various critters and such. If there anyone in the Central Florida area that would like to give me some tips that would be wonderful!

Regardless, I am very happy to have found this site, and am relived that there ARE other people with the same interests as me. Ever since I played naked as a kid in the warm sloppy mud at our local creek in Maryland I have been hooked on mud and quicksand. Unfortunately, the Pacific Northwest is not a great place for mud, so now that I have finally moved to Florida, maybe this 50-something guy can relive some of that childhood fun!

Take care all, and feel free to message me if you like. (-:
