Glubbl Award (or something akin)

For about the first five years of shooting quicksand scenes my Studio awarded a certificate called the "Glubbl" award to every actress who completed a full-submergence quicksand scene. Also we had a "Double Glubbl" for completion of a vertical submergence with both hands in the air throughout. Some of the actresses with significant filming experience seemed quite touched. Although that was strictly a Studio 588 thing, I would propose that it simply be declared that the award is automatically conferred regardless of where, or when, it is/was earned, inside or outside of the quicksand community. We could then compile a list of award holders from all sources, although some sort of definition of what constitutes a qualifying submergence might have to be agreed to.

Who knows, if it is played right it might even induce a few "name" actresses to do a scene just to get on the list. Anyone interested?

As a start for a definition, how about: I expect some people might prefer to drop 1b below.

1) The scene must involve a complete submergence.

1a) A re-emergence or not is irrelevant.

1b) Merely dipping the head does not count even if the entire body is submerged.

2) The scene must be part of a movie, television program, offered for purchase or free. That is, an item that is not and never has been available for acquisition in some form does not qualify.

3) The scene must NOT involve underage persons or be claimed by the producer to involve a real death.

Also, I would suggest avoiding any kind of actual presentation beyond listing who the award is given to. Especially among those having performed in the past and in Hollywood sorts of movies and TV, some award winners may be deceased and contact information may be impossible to find for others.

I like the sentiment behind this idea, I really do. But the issue mentioned above keeps me from getting genuinely interested in participating.

I've been doing this for twenty years. If I only had a few years in, and worked with a reasonable number of models, I am sure I would feel differently.

Having said that, I do believe that Britanny was one of the first (if not the first) recipient. And well deserved it was.

Well, then, I have a confession to make. I don't socialize with women very well.

And what that has meant over the years is that I wasn't the one 'in contact' with the vast majority of the models I have worked with. For example, I have never had contact information for any of the models in the Philippines (I use a dedicated recruiter), and have incomplete contact information for models here in the US.

But I do have a 'Mr Hefner' on board. I will ask him what he can with this.

Brittani may well have been the first. I don't think I have any documentation but my memory says I gave out the award at the very first shoot done here, which would have been Jenna, Kristine, Pamela, and Nessie.

I interpret this as agreeing with the idea of not trying to make any kind of direct presentation. In the event an actress cannot be identified by stage name it might work well to say "unknown" but to also pair every entry with the title of the scene or movie in which the Glubbl was first earned. Possibly as asterisk might be added to all who have done it more than once.
