Protected Map Updated with over 20 new pins.

(Thanks for the huge update farwing, (and everyone else who's edited) It's starting to resemble the lost map!)
Please continue to add new places to the now blank "New Community Places" layer.

Everything in the Editor Map that was in this layer has been moved to a new layer called "Places 2017-12-23 and Older"

I will continue to move new places into their own layers during weekly updates.

Image Displays 20+ new pins.

Nothing new has been added since the last update, the update of the locked map has been skipped for this week.

I noticed a number of markers placed in locations in the south San Francisco bay area.

I have to suggest people do not go anywhere out there to enjoy the mud. There is much debris, broken glass, sharp objects and toxins in that muck, washed down the creeks and rivers for many decades. Also there is mercury in the sediment from being washed down the river from the nearby Almaden quicksilver mines that's so bad that the county declined to dredge the area near Alviso to expand the docks for boating, for fear of kicking up all that mercury up into the water again and poisoning the wildlife worse than it already is. Use that region at your own risk, and there is a risk.

Can anyone shed any light on the Blue Marker in Southern NY near Kingston (Woodland?).
When you click on it - it only says the letter "B" in the information section.

Thanks

At best guess, it was probably a waypoint that failed to transfer from the old map, (Point A, B, C) for marking a line or path to a location.

However, as it is a Purple Marker, (Purple defines: Investigation Needed) and it's near a creek, I would assume whoever made it has marked it "to be explored."

No new places have been added, so the map remains the same this month.
