Brinke Stevens

Hey guys. I know I lurk a lot. However, thought this was worth mentioning. MPV alum Brinke Stevens...I did NOT know she produced/directed horror films! A friend of mine in KC is out in California promoting his film, Bonehill Road, and she is out there with him. I believe she is promoting her current film, as well....Personal Demons. She wrote and directed it. Pretty damned cool.

Brinke is also a many times over Studio588 alum and I am in touch with her frequently. She has been an active actress in Hollywood for many years and has a LONG list of credits as an actress, writer, and producer. Look up her name at IMdB.com.

And she was brought to the Quicksand Video scene by none other than Pete Boggs.

Heard from Brinke today. "Personal Demons" was screened in a theater near LA last Friday.

She was one of the first videos I ever saw when I purchased the CD. She was stuck in a pit that was like white glue. Brinke was half way out then the glue pulled her back in. I was instantly hooked!

Sounds like that is in MPVs very first quicksand production back in 1998... called Quicksand! The scene had Brinke stumble into one of their white clay pits while searching for gasoline for her car.
