Quicksand Fans

This is sad news.

Many of you probably noticed that Purple Monkey has not posted lately. After not getting a reply to an email I sent him, I did some checking and discovered that he has been taken from the world we know, very suddenly.

He was a great guy and will be missed by many here.

All the regulars here know that PM2lk was a prolific poster and contributor. As a defacto community organizer, I will always be grateful for his endless enthusiasm. He literally kept posting here during some quiet episodes to the extent that he single handedly kept QSF lively. He also unabashedly shared my interest in Asian beauty. I will truly miss his encouragement.

I trust he's in a good place. He was a great guy here at QSF and apparently very well appreciated in real life as well. I am going to thank him here, for being who he was. I invite all of you to do the same.

Thank you PM2K. You will be missed.

Im really sad to hear this, we chatted many times and he did a few requests and stuff for me and so many others.

This is really sad news. I hope they are good, wherever they are now. They always seemed so nice and open to any form of discussion.

Sad news indeed.

I guess as a farewell, my final comment on him is... A man of such plenty words, deserves to be remembered as a colleague, friend, a scholar even, that only truly need be remembered by name and memory, may his wishes to make our world a better place, he may have been stolen from this world, but he also managed to steal our hearts in the process, godspeed... PM2K.

Oh no. He really added a lot of flavor and enthusiasm both here and elsewhere.

He will be missed.

He always struck me as one of those super positive people that could find the good in anything.

I cannot provide links without revealing information I have no right to reveal but I have seen several eulogies written by people who knew and worked with him, and all of those speak very highly of his character and temperament.

As for us, PM2K was, as has been stated already, a very active contributor here. I can think of no better way of honoring his legacy than for everyone who appreciated what he did to commit to being and remaining active contributors. Not everyone can draw but there are many, many ways to be active.
