Quicksand Fans

I would like, if a few details can be arranged, to underwrite a legacy to PM2K in the form of a recognition I would call the PM2K Story of the (probably half year). This would not be a contest, per se, in that all stories (quicksand stories) posted during the relevant time frame would be considered. That is there would be no need to "enter" beyond just submitting a new story. There would be a nominal prize to the writer but its value would be kept small so as to minimize any gaming that might occur with a larger one. I am in the process of seeking a panel of two to four people to serve as judges for this. Right now I have one person who has agreed. I would NOT be a judge myself. Those I have asked, or whom I may ask in the future need to be people who come in often enough to see stories that are submitted in reasonable time and they need to be people unlikely to be biased by any foreseeable factors. I realize that is a tall order and this project may consequently not get off the ground. I hope it does.
