I am new to this forum. Having only recently come to terms with my fetish, and only recently finding other people who feel the same, I, all of a sudden, feel like I belong here and wish I could transcend into this digi-space full time. However, I still have lots of questions for other people to see if our similarities maybe dig deeper.

1) When did you first realise your fetish exists?
2) Is your fetish sexual or only visually pleasing?

1) When I was 18 year old girl at Glastonbury and the mud went overboard and at first I was avoiding it but I became enamoured by the drunk people playing in it. I have the pictures saved on my laptop, and the ones of Daily Mail and any others I can find. This I when I started watching more movies with mud then onto YouTube videos etc.
2) I would say at first it was visually, but now I feel with the videos on here, per say, its more of a sexual arousal that I experience, but I am yet to explore that side more.
3) One day, I want to perform as a damsel in distress for film for the benefit of this website. I kind of want to experience it aswell, but London is always so cold. Maybe I'll wait till summer to film something
4) No one knows. I find it difficult having no-one to talk to about it.
5) I work as a barmaid for the time being, and also studying at university.
6) That would be amazing. I don't have a partner right now.

I will leave to the regulars here to discuss the finer points of your questions. But I can say with confidence that this is a nuanced fetish area with a lot of different angles of approach. In other words, there is no 'one size fits all' here. In fact, it's quite the opposite.

On a personal note, your story resonates with me in that you started out with a tactile experience (Glastonbury). It feeds into a large part of my current fantasies.

I can only answer some of your questions but will do what I can from the perspective of a video producer and long-time member here. Seeking a partner with the same interest might seem desirable but it means a relationship based on a fairly narrow range of interest. Based on more than 2/3 of a century of life experience I would suggest seeking a partner who is open-minded (not to mention having good sense, being trustworthy, and so on). I have sorta hinted at what I do for a day job - I am retired but was a professor. Now I run and own Studio 588. All of the video producers for quicksand (that I know about) are in the United States. There have been producers from Germany but I don't think any are active currently. Doing something commercially with a US based producer might actually be possible IF you are travelling but I doubt if any are going to pay your air fare. As for discussing things with others we used to have a chat room here but it is no longer available. There is a chat room available at the quicksandland.com forum although it is poorly attended.

Long answers because I waffle - sorry...

1) From a personal perspective, even as a youngster I felt a strange draw towards things, probably aided by the golden age of TV / film in the 80s. Quite a few programmes and nearly every cartoon had some element of peril (danger of being eaten or trapped, characters being bound by villains, and obviously mud / quicksand etc.). Obviously there was no recognition for me that this was a 'fetish' at the time, but my interests existed within my life until the mid-90s when I found the Interwebs and discovered that I wasn't the only one!

2) I don't usually get turned on seeing other people in QS or in other peril. But if I imagine myself in the situation (be it a realistic situation or something that could only happen as part of a fantasy) then that gets my motor running a little.

3) I'm a bit too fuzzy and large to be a 'damsel' , but the whole helpless thing is a major fantasy. I've probably over-thought the whole 'living mud' / 'Mother Earth' concept, but being trapped and pulled into the depths by what seems to be a living entity covers the basics. Then I have similar feelings towards other similar perils, like being coiled by big snakes and other generally stereotypical stuff.

-Hmm, in middle school, I realized I had a thing for sinking in tar(I blame The Land Before Time), then about a year later, I realized quicksand was far more accessible and safer

Thinking back I realize it was always there, but I didn't recognize it as a fetish till I was in my teens.

(1) I was...well, younger than twelve. But I spent most of my free time from the time I was twelve scouring the woods for miles around for mud, the deeper the better. I Haven't been sinking for quite a long time now, due to a combination of factors. But I never lost my love.

I remember when I was very young, maybe before the age of 8, although the exact age was lost to me. I was in the bathtub, and thinking about quicksand made my sexual organ rise up.
