So what device do you use most to look at QSF? Please vote and comment. Curious how your age might relate to the hardware you use.

I would say 70/30 split between my PC and phone. Basically depends if I'm at home or not.

I'm under 30 but probably not a typical case for people around my age... I don't own a smartphone or tablet of any sort. I've been using desktop computers most of my life, a mouse + keyboard interface is just far more familiar to me than any sort of touchscreen device.

Yea, tablet and phone. Great to check out and catch up on updates. Terrible to respond to any posts. (Keys too small. Autocorrect may/ will jack up what you write and your intent is misinterpreted.

The reply from Jadokast points out a weakness of this type of survey insofar as obtaining results that can be assumed to be valid for the population being sampled. Because it is more difficult to reply using certain types of devices it MIGHT be that those devices are under-represented by the survey.
The classic example of this, given in almost every textbook of research methodology (including one I wrote) is the presidential preference poll done by the Literary Digest in 1936. That magazine used telephone and magazine subscriber lists to solicit voter preferences and had always been very accurate in predicting the election. In 1936, however, very large numbers of people had given up their phone and magazines because they could not afford them and those people voted overwhelmingly for Franklin Roosevelt. The Digest confidently predicted that Alf Landon would win in a landslide, and when Roosevelt won in a landslide the Digest rather quickly went bankrupt.

I don't remember what my first smartphone was (some no-name off brand thing) but I hated it because my shaved ape paws constantly fat fingered the keys. Upgraded to an S5 with the 5" screen and the difference was night and day.

The vast amount of my personal computing (since 2011, at least) is done via smartphone (currently iPhone 7 Plus). If it’s not done with that, I’ll use either an iPad or a Windows laptop. I’m 33 years old and typically lurk here about every other day, however briefly.

Four desktops and a laptop. Nothing else.

I did pick the classic PC because this one is more private than my phone.
My smartphone has become quite equal in internet-usage-time and i have also a lot of your photos and videos stored on it, but i cannot use a "mud-related"-background-pic on it. My phone lies on the table all the time and it would be quite embarassing when collegues or (even worse) friends and/or family would see one of your models almost drowning in some bog when the display activates.

Edit/Addon: Also 30+ for a couple of years now :(
