The feeling of being stuck

There are a few people in the forum who like the idea of wearing boots in deep mud and quicksand. I am one of them and like the feeling of being stuck - it's an important part of the sinking thing. Easy escapes seem to be reserved for those horrible floating sawdust quicksand scenes!
Getting stuck is easier if you wear heavy items of clothing, as I found out when I was wearing two layers of heavy waders

Ah yes, been there and done that, too.
That's special feeling when your hipboots are sucked in deeper and deeper...
There is also a video here:

Yes, they are black stockingfoot waders - very thick and rubbery and fill out the hip waders nicely!

Stuckcouple seem to end up in all the right places and in all the right gear
It'd be great if some of the mainstream producers here would venture into the sexy clothing department

I guess that's not mainstream enough.
I could live with skintight latex catsuits, matching gloves and thighboots.
btw: could you give me a source/vendor for these wader-pants? They would be useful for me, too.

My thoughts of walking in mud with boots or waders are mixed and it depends how deep your going in. I have gone in with knee high boots and actually lost one that I couldn't retrieve, not as easy as it seems when you push in a boot in 3 ft of gluey mud. I cant even imagine being in chest deep mud with waders, how the heck would you get that out even if your strong, may as well just go in barefeet,it would be easier to extricate yourself.
I agree with Maria, the sawdust quicksand does nothing for me either, the mud has to be very thick and deep. the feeling of being stuck in this stuff is heart pounding and the mud noises and very interesting in the spots I have been checking out

Yes please mainstream producers - latex, thighboots and long gloves - nothing boring about that combination
I bought the stockinfoot chestwaders off ebay - secondhand a while ago. I think they'd be called vintage now!

Besides being totally stuck in the thickest mud does anyone enjoy the mud noises as your moving around? For myself it adds to the experience although some of the mud noises are nasty

like the bog is talking back

I love any sounds the mud makes, since I also think it adds to the experience.

The more sounds the merrier, and the nastier the better!
