looking for sinking spots when hiking

I love hiking,one of my favorite things to do. I live in Ontario and there are hundreds of hiking trails to explore even many unorganized trails that you can explore at no cost. I look for trip reviews online from hikers and a lot of times they talk about the hikes and trail conditions and such and a lot of times muddy conditions are mentioned as a lot of trails travers near boggy areas and marshes and this becomes very helpful. I did a 10km hike last weekend at this beautiful scenic trail and had so many boggy sections in plan view from the trail,lots of opportunities to check these places out as at times the trails are less travelled at certain times of the year.
This is the way i look for new mud spots and I found so many great spots if your willing to travel a little and the best part is that its free and fun and the land is crown land,no worries about trespassing.

And don't forget to study Google Maps/Earth for places that are not in view of the trails!

I hear there are some pretty good mud areas in Ontario. Any specific advice if someone were interested in making the trek up there for a weekend?

Any spots in particular? I'm new to Ontario and not really sure where to look; in the Kingston area but willing to travel!

Ontario is a huge province,best to take a roadtrip and watch on the side of the roadways,sometimes you can get hints of what could be.
Try exploring Algonquin park, its a massive conservation area in central Ontario. You will have to do your own research by travelling around. hint hint I keep my spots secret sorry

If you're not a Sinker, taking photos to use as backgrounds for your own fakes is a wonderful opportunity. Plus there's no required explanation... everyone assumes you're in wildlife photography. Sometimes you get some great shots... and sometimes you get some great shots. Weather, temps and bugs... in real life it is not perfect, whereas in the photo it's as perfect as you can fiddle with.
