Quicksand Fans

So for some time now , I have contacted the makers of these wonder and amazing images asking for a release date. And over and over there is some excuse on why these have not been posted.
Again dont want to be that guy , however if I know someone is willing to pay money for something I made to make more money with , why not release it ?
There is also content I have asked for from dave for over 2 years now and dont get me wrong. Amazing stuff has come out ! I have purchased several videos from many producers on this site. But I would like some type of answer on these scenes and the ones I have asked dave for. But these pictures I posted I would love to purchase them. I dont really care about price l. I am willing to pay double the normal cost. I just know many people on here would love to see these also.

Kinda feels like it , I'm sure there is some excuse why they havent been released yet. I have made posts about some of these before and still time keeps going by. Guess my money isnt good enough

Your money is fine but it’s rarely that simple. Wayback in the day I remember waiting years for certain things some of which never happened. Keep in mind that you are dealing with one person operations here and time itself is a very finite resource for them.

Regarding DIDVP I believe they have simply quit business due to health concerns. Hang in there I’m sure somebody will respond with valid explanation.

The health thing I am aware of and it is a terrible thing. ( I myself have problems ) but I do see there clipsforsale page as added some new stuff. So someone is adding to it. Thanks Duncan

I think that each of the producers is in a unique position regarding unreleased material.

The problem I have with the scenes in question (The Twins Pleading Scene - among others), is that the raw footage was passed over for digitization way back when. So I will literally have to invent a workflow just to get after the footage, some of which is analog. I'm getting closer, but not there yet.

In any case, I encourage folks who are waiting for previously announced content to be politely persistent about it.

Speaking for Studio 588, we have a great deal of unreleased material, something around 400 scenes worth, so there could be quite a problem if I created vaporware by releasing stills or clips prematurely. [I believe the term "vaporware" technically refers to the early days of personal computers when a large number of mostly start-up companies made announcements of software that would be available, as critics soon described it, "real soon now." Much of it never was released, probably for various reasons and those companies soon vanished.]

I had a few problems a while back when one of my crew members posted stills of unreleased scenes without my knowledge. When I received inquiries about "where can I get this scene" it often took me quite a while to even identify the scene in question, but when I did I tried to edit and release that scene as soon as possible so the vaporware became actualware.

I am sure that we all have some unfinished stuff. I can think of two that I never managed to put together.

I exited producer-hood with little warning in early 2013 when I got hired at a "We own your butt so you can just work that piece of anatomy to the bone!" kind of job and the overtime slaughtered all those good intentions about finishing those. I never throw footage out but it has been two hard drives, six and a half years, one spinal catastrophe and a major home re-organization later.

I get a few random emails here and there asking about new stuff. I am now 58 and of course it's over. I do have to make it a point to appreciate their wish for it, though.

If you're willing to pay, and someone isn't willing to sell (yet) there is almost always a good reason. Not excuse, but reason. Maybe there wasn't enough material to make a good video but they could make good photos, who knows. They're not withholding content to spite you or for any malicious reasons.

Also, you really are coming across like that guy. Saying "excuses" instead of "reasons" and being a dick about your "money not being good enough". Maybe Dave felt the product wasn't good enough to put his brand on? There's many, many valid reasons you aren't getting what you're kind of demanding.

Sometimes I wonder if people would be less demanding about this stuff if it wasn't wank material.
