Underwater Quicksand Springs On Survivor Tocantins!

On the latest episode of Survivor Tocantins, the winner of the reward challenge and two people he chose, including one female, spent some time having a feast, followed by a dip in a pool of water fed by quicksand springs! When they stepped into the quicksand bottom under the water, they sunk down until the water was up to their shoulders or chins, and the upwelling water in the quicksand springs (and perhaps the density of the sand mixed in the water as well on the bottom) helped keep them up. They relaxed, sitting down in the pool of water, with their legs in the quicksand bottom.

Were they shown mud-covered? Or was it basically just water?

It was a sandy bottom and you saw in an underwater shot one of the males sink to his knees while the clear water was around his neck. Not really a five star sinking sequence but fun to think about. And no they were clean as they exited.
