Quicksand Fans

Evening, Folks,

I am a big fan of the "Hollywood" styled quicksand various producers use (including myself), as well as in various movies & TV. But, I'm curious - is the light brown, almost orange color of fresh ground cork too obvious? Granted, the ground cork does a great job of undulating atop the water, and looks like great when a model submerges - BUT it does stick out rather boldly in a natural location. I.e. it is not "natural" enough - or is it? I tried a darker cork a couple of years ago - felt more "natural" to me, but there is something about a wide expanse of "dry looking" sand that is actually deadly quicksand.

I'm curious what others think about the color of Hollywood quicksands and its setting for a scene. What are your thoughts?

I do like the way Hollywood quicksand moves and quivers, but for me I prefer a nice thick peat bog, or quickclay as used by Fred in Studio 588 scenes, especially the way it clings to the model's every curves I'm also a fan of MPVbleck and Oobleck . . . That stuff is amazing !

I actually prefer the "Hollywood Quicksand" look. The way it moves in that way.

There are times when I believe I'm something of a weirdo in this fetish. As long as the lady is pretty, she says the right stuff, the acting is decent, I don't really care that much. I too am a big fan of Hollywood for those reasons and probably some others I'm not even aware of. I guess there's a nostalgia thing at work there too. I love the Hollywood look at style but I feel that way with just about everything.

Mine too! That is what I think of 'beach quicksand'!
