Happy 2020 and remember 1996

When the only image up on the web was from THE MIND IS THE KEY by old Kaol. Back then we also had the brillilant DER MUD GECKO and some PETE BOGGS cartoons. We've come a long way.

1996? That was a couple years pre-Internet for me and i thought i was the only one with this type of obsession

I think I first got online around '97 or '98. Kaol's Old Sinking Hole was the first site I ran into.

The music wasn't an issue but I still lived at home then. When the dialog played I was in the middle of my family's living room using the shared computer and my mom was 10 feet away in the kitchen!! I bought my first "Personal" PC not long after, believe you me.

It was awesome. In fact, after becoming thoroughly familiar with the quicksand, I used the site for background music. He had midi files on many of the pages.
