Getting stuck while helping someone else

Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone here has gotten stuck rescuing someone else that had gotten stuck in quicksand or mud? While that has not happened for me I would be willing to risk getting stuck to help someone else stuck. I have to admit the was a fear I had as a kid about getting stuck helping some one else as the TV and movies portrayed it. Someone would always get too close and either get pulled in or step in the wrong place and start sinking and get stuck too.

I do remember reading about a group on a environmental clean up on the West coast where one person got their boots stuck in the mud and someone came to help and got stuck helping, In the end I think 5 or 6 people got stuck in the same place helping each other.
