A brief description of the environment, if that helps:
- There are a lot of lakes around my area, previously used as massive clay pits for an old brickworks that used to be here (oh how I'd love to have seen those in-person
!!).- Additionally, there is a large quarry nearby (although I'm still unsure whether it is still being used or not)
Could I have any guidance on what kind of areas I should be looking in? Like, what should the ground be like, should there be much vegetation around what I'm looking for, how close to/far from the lakes is an ideal place for the wet ground, etc.
And any precautions I should be taking? I've got all the obvious stuff planned out, I'm just waiting for the weather to cheer up a bit
