Lake Michigan help.

Postby domman00016 » Mon Jul 13, 2020 2:48 pm

Might take a day trip to the lake Michigan. Was wondering if there are any hot spots for quicksand.

That would probably depend on which of the four states with shorelines on the lake you're going to.

Haven't decided yet. Planning on what ever location seems the most fun if you know what I mean.

There used to be a quarry in Kazoo years ago(1980) that was great.... unfortunately fenced in now. But at Warren Dunes State Park in Berrien County (SW) there is a creek that feeds into the lake. Upstream still in the park not much privacy unfortunately there is a vein of super sticky grey clay that runs into the creek which many a people have slid down it into the stream and then make the trek back to the lake to cleanup. There is videos of it on youtube. I was lucky to hit it a couple years ago early in the morning right after the park opened for the day and had the area to myself for a while. Hopefully this could be enjoyable for you
