Has anyone seen this yet? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4PG_kKywCQ Trailer shows a guy stepping on some tar and getting his foot stuck. Looks like it may have potential for other stuck/sinking scenes. I've just checked the cast list and there are several young ladies in it that would make fine looking tar-stuck damsels! https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4351684/fullcredits?ref_=tt_cl_sm#cast

I dunno. None of the "horror" clips appear to be anywhere near a pit. Could this be another quicksand-less "Swamp Thing"?

Fingers crossed. Ummmm... What's that "Based on the true legend"? all about? (See poster).

It came out in early October. I think I located a copy. I'll let you know.

OK. I saw it. Big bummer. Swamp Thing coated in dirty motor oil. Gory deaths.

No tar pits. The only shot of one is near the beginning, shot from a public sidewalk with the big pit visible through a fence. So low-budget that they probably could not afford the license or whatever to shoot on park property nor fab their own sets. Seems like most of the movie is shot in an office building.

2 stuck scenes, the second short-short. A real let-down for a movie by that name.

Too bad. Given the plot apparently involves something walking around and leaving tar on the ground they could have easily done a sinking without spending huge amounts of money by writing in something indoors. Why not some sort of container, a coffin perhaps or just a storage tank where the creature or whatever it is sleeps at night, or during the day.

There are too many producers who have no imagination! (lol)

Oh well! :| Could've definitely been so much more if they'd had a decent budget and, as Fred said, a decent imagination.

Thanks for looking into it anyway BogDog, very kind of you :)
