Since there was some conversation about sinking in the Lake Erie area in this thread, thought I'd mention that a nude hike this coming weekend to the clothing optional "Skinnydip Falls" in western New York state this coming Saturday (the 24th). I'm part of a nudist meetup group and they are arranging it. Anyone's welcome to join, we're going to meet at the trailhead at noon. PM me for details.

I've looked for sinking spots there, and I've found a few small muddy areas around the creek, but nothing over a foot deep. Still, it's a beautiful hike and the way I see it, if you're already naked, it's much easier to get muddy. I'd be happy to go exploring for more mud if anyone joins.

One area of the creek has some mud that feels almost like cement, it's very sticky and ever so slightly sandy.
