Here in NE Florida, we’re STILL waiting (and hoping) for winter to show up.

There really oughta be a law!!!. The 17 I reported earlier as forecast for Sunday morning is now forecast to be 11. YUK!

Really can't complain this year, been a relatively warm winter. Even the forecast for the first week of Janurary has highs above freezing.
Ok I will complain, it's still way too cold to go for a sink.

My problem with an indoor mudpit wouldn't be the pit itself, I could builld something in my basement and end up with 3-4 feet of depth, but how do you explain that Elephant in the room to your friends/fam who don't know about your "interest"? Honestly I think it'd be easier to explain away a sex dungeon.

It's a hot tub is my first cover story. lol Of course its filled with Gallium Polykryptonite rather than clay or peat moss so it's a little bit more believable. "You don't want to know works on occasion also.

It’s funny how, for me at least, by July I’m whining incessantly about the stifling heat and worse, the humidity, and wishing so bad for fall. Then by oh, December or January, I’m bitching about my freezing my toes and fingers off, and can’t wait for spring

Though regardless of how freaking cold my extremities may get, I do however very much enjoy a nice snowfall at least once per season (just snow, no f-ing ice! Which is all we usually get where I’m at). I know it’s a pain to travel in, and I sympathize for those who must, but I’ve been somewhat fortunate to not be able to work during most winter weather events.

I have a very fond memory from childhood of a two foot or more snowfall with temps below zero for a week after. Donning all my heaviest winter gear, I was so excited to go out and explore the fields and forests around our home. In the blowing snow, it was hard to see anything but snow all around once I was little more than a hundred yards from the house, and I imagined I was on an Arctic expedition with a small American flag in one hand, and my late American Eskimo dog on a leash in my other. I have yet to experience anything similar since.
