I'm amused by the fact that my "smart" automobile, for all it's computer controlled bluetoothed iphone on wheels bullshit still needs it's clock manually reset.

Today I heard on the news there's a bill in congress trying to get daylight saving time perminate. If it passes they say it'll go into effect next year.

Hopefully it'll get voted down in the House. DST in the winter would suck, there'd be months where the sun wouldn't come up till after 8am.

Same here, and I also have two atonic clocks that never seem to understand the concept of "self setting" either. I've also got another device that in two weeks will update itself (despite the fact I already manually updated it) because it was programed to change itself before they moved DST back two weeks
