Why would anybody waste a perfectly good Blu-Ray disc on this movie? But then again, if you like REALLY bad Sci-Fi, this is the film for you. I mean, there is low-budget bad, like the in-house stuff SyFy (formerly the SciFi channel) puts out, but for splashy big-budget wretchedness this film can't be beat. Might be worth watching just for the immortal line "Imperial Battleship, I command you to stop time!"

Quicksand scene? Dang. Netflix has never heard of this movie.

According to IMDB.org, the alternate title is "The Adventures of Stella Star", though Netflix doesn't know that one either.

Yes Dang indeed, I never heard of this movie before either, if someone here does splurge on the DVD let us know to possibly put us out of our misery sooner rather than later!

We've discussed and researched this one on several occasions in the past. Careful study shows that this scene was shot but not included in the final release. Yes, it is an abominable piece of cinema but I think the interest is that the missing scene might be included in extras or even the release itself. Aside from Caroline Munro fans I can't imagine any other reason to want it. 8-)
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for over 20 years. Thank you.

Hi Guys!!!
I found this online store where they mentioned the contents of the DVD and Blu-ray of this film. And as we all hoped it contains deleted scenes. Check out the link:

And a little surprise for all you:

Lost scene indeed! That would have been classic. Here's hoping it does appear on the DVD as promised. :D

Greetings. I found this website, is a review of this new dvd edition of Starcrash; I think this is the webpage that Doomsand talked.

http://www.avmaniacs.com/review.php?id=1548

I believe that to be 17 deleted and alternate scenes; must be including the quicksand scene (in this site mentioned a deleted scene of a long segment of the escape of Stella Star), I know isn't many eliminated scenes of this movie. Anyway we can only to wait 2 weeks to get this dvd. (well 4 week for me...)
