A small hovercraft would be much better.

Provided you could find a place to get up and over the berm, you would be out of sight, and also have mobility in the interior.

Given the land is less than a few years old or so, I doubt much for tree growth has developed. That being said, I think you have the safest and sanest approach. Assuming the data is correct, you are definitely wanna tie off somewhere while romping around there and definitely bring a buddy. They state that soft parts can be as deep as 16ft.

Having said that...just putting this out there ;)

That's pretty cool. :-)

But this is more the kind of thing that could take on the slope of a berm - even if you had to offload your victim, er, passenger temporarily.

Suppose you run out of gas while you're hovering in the middle of the island..?

If I am spending that much on a hovercraft, I’m gonna insist I do it right.

I’d probably suggest a decent flare gun and a comsat phone with the coast guard on speed dial. A good attorney might help too

16 feet deep? Meh. When they dredge out the settling ponds I play in the hole is at least 20 ft deep. Bring it on!

They are limiting liability for the inevitable idiot that will try to take a high school class there. We are an entirely different level of idiot entirely. We could do this and nobody would ever know.

Oh, Dave...these boys got boats - https://www.nautitoons.com/ And I love how it mentions they are located right behind "Go Topless Fishing Charters" - We could do this
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for over 20 years. Thank you.
