You are not correct when you say "the producers are not producing anymore." Perhaps you meant, "THOSE producers are not..." While my own Studio would not do the kind of scene you describe, we did twelve shoots this summer, and also hosted several other producers. You probably have not heard of those because insofar as I am aware they have not yet announced any new releases. As for models, new ones come along all the time.

What I have always appreciated about quicksand fetishism in general is that it tends to sit on the soft core level of pornography.
I have never enjoyed hardcore pornography, mostly as it often lacks imagination, somehow is both banale and cruel in its casual sadism and can be laughable in its fascinations.

Others can enjoy what they will, bearing in mind the laws and statutes of where they live in the world.
But I personally appreciate that this fetish is both a little bit weird and soft core in its presentation of subject matter.

Your description of porn does indeed describe large swaths of what is out there. But there are exceptions.

Oddly enough, I have been capturing huge amounts of video that I collected, mostly in the 90's. Of the porn that I see go by, most of it seems pretty crude. And the ladies often seem genuinely frightened of the (coked out their minds) guys. The stuff looks crude because a lot of porn produced in the last ten years or so (from certain sources) is quite excellent.

I guess, as a previous (jack c) and now again present member, I agree with both of the above observations. I’ve always found the melodramatic scenes, with the damsel-in-distress being at least partially clothed, to be the most exciting and interesting. The ones where the girlfriend/wife is making a video to please the boyfriend/husband can also be kind of a kick. Certainly others have different tastes and opinions. I think this site has been and continues to be a tasteful and broad-spectrum platform where a wide variety of people can find things they enjoy - I have appreciated it for just that quality. Just my two cents, as well.

I waited through all the discussion because I was almost certain to say the wrong thing. Truth is that a lot of our fetish looks the way it does because it's a sexual fetish. Most of the guys shooting the video and taking he pictures were producing what they like which is sexual fantasy. Over the years I was with MPV, Studio 588, Pam and Rob, Kaol, Chuck Lang, Nessie, Kristine and Lance, and others. Most of those producers, or a fair portion of their content, addressed our fetish as something sexual. Maybe not always overtly but it was more often than not at least cheesecake if not "porn." For my own part, even an innocent damsel had to have a fair amount of cleavage and leg showing. It's a sexual tease going all the way back to Vera Miles in Tarzan's Hidden Jungle with the ripped skirt and open collar. That's not porn but it was about as much as you were going to get away with at the time. It's nothing to go to the movies now and get soft core porn so why wouldn't the material of an actual sexual fetish created by heterosexual guys in the same age bracket look that way?

I can really relate to your observation. The whole tension of Vera Miles wandering through the jungle, getting lost, ripping her dress to the point of being semi-clothed ... serves a purpose. It was as if she were being transported simultaneously to a primordial time and place where being eaten by something for breakfast can really happen to a girl. I read a review of the movie that described the scene as “dripping with subliminal sexuality,” a description that I (given my interest) totally agree with. The melodrama of this lovely woman with shredded clothing falling into quicksand is indeed a sexy scene, without the trappings of conventional porn. It doesn’t need to be conventional porn - it is great just the way it is. You certainly have much experience filming just such scenes, some of which I surely own on DVD’s. The QSfans site includes a few other genres of quicksand scenes, some of which I am also a fan of, but I like the fact that it does not ignore the drama and tension of the Hidden Jungle type of scene.

I can recollect two BJ scenes. One from PRP where the girl is buried in beach sand, and one by JOJ and it starred Niko
