i realize that for the times i've worked with Fred on a custom shoot, i may not have consciously had Pete's work in mind but i'm sure it was there in my subconscious--- thanks Pete!!

I remember discovering his early work back in college. It was fantastic then, and just as funny/beautifully drawn and amazing now.

This is such a terrible loss. :( His humorous and unique style of artwork will be his everlasting legacy. The main feature of his artwork that I find especially appealing and uplifting is his artistic style of facial features and expressions!

Thanks Pete, for all you have done!

RIP

Yeah, I have to admit, the timing doesn't seem to match up on this, as it seems to be around the middle to end of January that he went silent on DA, so maybe the dating on there is off.

He always did seem to be very optimistic and upbeat, and he did have a remarkable sense of humor, and that does indeed make this all the more sad. I hope they were as well. He will be sorely missed.

He was dealing with the cancer the last couple times I spoke to him, and he did indeed seem optimistic.

Dennis (in addition to having a great sense of humor) had an innocent vulnerability about him - which makes this seem extra sad. I hope the angels were there right away for him.

that's a real shame. Who would now own the rights to his work?

Sorry, I started to reply to this thinking of something else. I have deleted all I can of what I wrote.
