For all the gals, Does leather leggings or leather and boots really affect how trapped and pulled down your legs get? And how does that feel?

From some degree of experience, boots- especially anything flat soled like wellies, riding boots or military boots- do seem to generate a lot more suction in a mire. Can't speak for leatherwear though.

Not a girl but a femboy. I have found that sinking with thigh high socks can make escaping tricky bc the mud clings to any clothes making you heavier. Happened on my first sinking trip with a friend and actually needed help to escape lol.
