Help finding a location

Hi, I'm relatively new to this community, and I was wondering if there are any fellow Oregonians here who would know a place, preferably in Western Oregon where I could go for a sink? I've scouted coastal areas, rivers, lakes, quarries, and everything in between from satellite view on Google Maps but just can't seem to find anything. I've also looked on the Mud Map, but the only location that seems really promising is so far north it would be a day trip, which wouldn't work out for me given my current work schedule. And there are some locations marked by someone else an hour south of me, but it's hard to tell if any of the locations they marked are any good, and some require a boat to get to, which I don't have, not even a kayak or canoe.

I'm also considering making my own pit, but as of right now I don't have the finances or privacy required for such a thing, nor the knowledge such as what kindof mud I would fill the pit with, much less where to getthat mud. My best idea is a 6x6x6 pit filled with sphagnum peat moss (being 5'8 that gives me plenty of wiggle room during sinks), but as previously stated I don't have the finances or privacy needed to set that up, much less keep it clean from things like animal shit or just general maintenance.

Anyway, please let me know if you know of a location, I would love to have my first ever sink during the height of the season (mid July to mid August I'd estimate), especially considering it's only probably gonna get hotter and possibly smoky in my area of Oregon as the summer draws to a close.
