Quicksand Fans

Ingrid follows the calls for help into the Central Peat Bogs. After a while she finds Suzi and Ronda, both stuck and sinking into the morass. She carefully approaches, feeling the solid bottom underneath her feet with each step while the muck that reaches just above her knees. The damsels are about neck-deep and both are slowly slipping deeper. Somehow Ronda seems to be more worried than Suzi even though their predicament is the same.
It does not look like Ingrid can help them both at the same time. So what should she do? What would YOU do?

Since Ingrid can touch a bottom, but Suzi and Ronda can’t, the former should cut her losses and let the other two sink under. Ingrid can retrace her steps and try to go back the way she came.

Do you really think she should abandon them now after following their voices and taking the risk of coming all the way here? Why would Ingrid do that?

Hear me out, if Ingrid tries to rescue one of them, chances are she might get stuck alongside them, becoming a victim herself.

If she brought with her a rope or a long stick, then Ingrid be able to rescue both Suzi and Ronda without risking herself being put in their situation.

Yes. By the time she thinks up a way to rescue them both, it will probably have already been too late for Ronda or Suzi.

I do see the benefit to rescuing one of them, though. One more companion makes it easier to pull the other if they get stuck (unless they screw up, and they both go under.)

I picked Ronda, because I think Suzi should already be way more familiar with escaping quicksand; wasn't she one of the few who cleared the Sinktember challenge? Although to be fair, she also showed us how not to escape quicksand. Hmm...

Imagine whoever you don’t rescue comes back later to get revenge, hehe~ just a little thought.

At least try to rescue both. But since Ronda is more worried, she should be rescued first. She'll be more likely to go under if left alone.

Of course picking either "Rescue Suzi" or "Rescue Ronda" does not imply that Ingrid intends to let the other girl drown. It's just about who comes first, and then seeing how things unfold from there.
