Interesting but also a good example of why magicians always have a cute female assistant. When I was in college I attended a lot of lectures that would have benefitted from something like that.

OK. I thought maybe there was n update featuring his grad students or something. Sorta like a professor doing a video on mud pots with hallucinogenic volcanic gas, and then an addition where a female grad assistant taking temperature measurements of the mud pot forgets to be careful about the gas.

You might borrow from this a bit. Professor Fred is delivering a lecture on related geology with the help of an attractive grad assistant - This formation is rarely dangerous unless the depth and viscosity values exceed...blah blah blah And the lecture continues in dry monotone with Professor Fred unaware of the trouble his assistant is getting into behind him. Something like Professor Bunsen Honeydew and his assistant "Beaker" on the Muppet Show.
