Cate Blanchett scene in Robin Hood BD Director's Cut
Not sure if this was posted, but there is a scene in the Director's Cut (BD) of Cate Blanchett sinking up to her shoulders in a peat bog rescuing a ram that had gotten stuck. Robin (Russell Crowe) had to go in and rescue her and the ram. Reasonable scene I think, probably cut from the theatrical release. If this is a repost my aploogies.

It's news to me. Sounds like one we need to find and get clipped.
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for over 20 years. Thank you.

That sounds pretty good to me! Pity people keep cutting out the good bits.... but at least they are thinking of sinking scenes...

I can confirm this scene, I rented the DVD yesterday and I received great surprise to see the scene. There is not a dramatic moment but acceptable. I'll see if I can upload the scene later.

Thanks for the clip. It was kind of slow and watery and was probably cut because it "bogged" down the plot. We need to send Hollywood lessons on decent peat bogs. Studio588 sets the standard.

Thanks for the favorable comment. I am sitting by the phone waiting for the call from Hollywood producers.

Oh, VERY NICE! It nicely portrays a Quicksand Fantasy of mine... girl goes to rescue a sheep stuck in the mud... girl ends up stuck in the mud.
I love her lines after she sinks in...
"I'm all right."
"I can't move me legs."
It was pretty cool when Russell Crowe rescued the ram first then her. Sounds like there was a bit of a suction sound as he whipped her out of the ooze.
