Hello Everyone!

Hello! I’ve never really spoken out about this before to anyone, including online. I’m really a huge fan of mud (haven’t experienced quicksand or clay pits, sadly. Ugh.) Deepest mud I’ve been in has been waist deep. Thought I’d give this site a go since I literally have never met anyone who shares this niche interest. Especially now where getting to a good mud pit is insanely expensive due to my temporary location. So mud play outside is quite literally off the table, and I can’t find anyway to make a good pit inside due to my location. So talking about it is all I got right now. Hope everyone is doing great! Excited to be a part of this community of fellow enthusiasts!

Hi, Firstly welcome to the community! can I ask where in the world are you based? secondly there is a World map in the General Discussion thread you might want to take a look at for areas to visit, However I would suggest you don't go anywhere on your own but have someone with you for safety or to take pics or video but also have means for safety " climbing out " and cleaning up afterwards.

Hello! I’ll keep that in mind, not that I have anyone who’d do that willingly rn tho lol. I’m based about 2 hours north of NYC. Nothing close on the mud map unfortunately. My own mud spot is about waist deep (3-4ft?) so “sinking” in that spot has been relatively safe since the one time I went under I had to physically push myself under while sitting haha. So unless I get the fortune to visit tidal mud or clay pits I think I’ll be ok for now.
Temporarily in Micronesia which doesn’t have any consistent spots despite the climate. But after a ton of reading today I decided to buy Bentonite Clay which I’m SUPER excited for!
