Definitely A ( Live action ) I don't see how watching a cartoon compares to seeing real models sinking and playing in mud / quicksand can compare. Having said that I appreciate other people may think differently. As they say " each to his own " Be interesting to see other comments :) .

All of the above, assuming 'B' means animated. ;)

Any live action would have to be 100% believable. Unconvincing acting by the actress OR the sinking/stuck medium they are suppose to be trapped in can ruin live performances for me instantly.

A is the preferred way... given the model is attractive enough

but there's room for the other 2--- you can put damsels into situations too strenuous for a real gal

( A ) Live action is much more enjoyable and you can't beat real time action, Sadly cartoon's and Ai just doesn't do it for me.

For me it's
(D) Written Works

I think there are examples of excellent presentation in every medium. The real question IMHO is how much thought, care, and effort went in?

Written is probably my favourite because it requires the least equipment and training to pull off adequately, a lot of people have given it a go, and therefore inevitably some of them have done a good job portraying fantasies that match mine closely.

Okay, so I personally enjoy quicksand scenarios both in drawings and in live action. Now the thing is that I of course enjoy live action even more because it’s real life, but it has to seem believable. You know, with good acting and thick quicksand. But the thing is that with drawings, you can literally create whatever scenario you want!, because it’s fiction. You can draw your ideal scenario, anything you can imagine. While in real life, creating good quicksand scenes is a lot more difficult.

I’ll show some public images created by A-020 and Jump Off Joe for an interesting comparison:
