Are there quicksands in Peru?
Hi, I probably shouldn't be asking this, and besides, I'm probably the only one from that country, but does anyone know if there are any areas with quicksand or something similar around here?

Re: Are there quicksands in Peru?
Quicksand in Peru is primarily associated with the saturated, sandy, or muddy riverbanks of the Amazon region rather than the arid southern deserts like Huacachina. While not a frequent danger for tourists, it occurs where water mixes with fine sand sediments.
Locations: Quicksand has been documented in the Amazonian riverbank areas during jungle treks. The coastal desert of Sechura, although generally dry, experiences sudden, dramatic floods during El Niño years that can create unstable, muddy conditions.

Saludos desde México, justo en la región amazónica al norte y existe una escena en las riberas del lago Titicaca con una reportera compitiendo por caminar sobre las plantas de la ribera sin hundirse,
