Selected Sinking Outfit / Sinking Tips?

Good morning!
Thank you all for the lovely replies and suggestions on my previous topic! I decided I wanted to get a new outfit for the occasion, and this is the dress and boots I ordered (they will arrive tomorrow!). I am really excited!!
Any tips on sinking/being safe with sinking to avoid any awkward (and panicked) calls to rescue service?

My suggestion is to carry some sort of digging tool with you, perhaps something like a small garden tool that has been tested to make sure that it is sturdy enough to not bend.
Nice dress and cute boots!

I would suggest not wearing any footwear at least until you get a measure of the mud. The times I've nearly got stuck was always when wearing footwear of any sort.

I agree about the video. The best tip to not get stuck too bad is to not wear boots but since you are I'd expect to get stuck pretty bad. Just make sure to have something with you to help you get out if you get really stuck.
