Quicksand Fans

I've mentioned before that I see quicksand mostly as a bondage device; the victims are stuck in an inescapable trap, vulnerable (as in nude or close to it) and helpless. I often add extras like restraints or cages to make sure that the victim has no choice but to submit to the mud completely.

However, while submersion is the ultimate ending for me, I don't like the idea of my victims actually dying. It's nothing I think too hard about; maybe they're just really good at holding their breath Still, the trap is in my mind never a fatal one. Unpleasant perhaps, and certainly non-consentual, but never truly deadly.

Since we are talking fantasy, moviemaking, fiction, etc. there are all sort of ways to deal with such conflicts. One can, and various creators have, develop a fantasy whereby a character goes under screaming with delight by surrounding that in a dream or daydream.

From the point of view as a real sinker:

The clean-up afterwards. Sometimes it's a real nightmare to wash off all the dirt from your gear and boots. Tidal-Mud! Clay!!

Unlikely yes, but maybe there is a hidden vine or rope under the surface. Or Scotty beams her out. Or she wakes up.

As someone who plays exclusively in tidal mud only accessible via kayak... I find dealing with tides annoying. There are days when I have the free time to get muddy (including time needed to get to the spot), but can't because the low tide time doesn't line up with my availability. One of the bigger issues I have is i have no idea if the area I launch from actually closes the park gates at dusk. I suppose I'll have to stay down there for a day or two to check.

I dislike having a fetish at all, primarily the obsessive compulsive aspect of it, it greatly channels and restricts your choices in life and constantly places me in risky situations, have nearly been killed more often than I like to think about. Add to that the difficulty that having a fetish makes in forming and sustaining long term relationships.

That said, I'm also aware of the ying/yang side of this. I am in great physical shape as it takes a great amount of effort to do mud at quarries that I would not be motivated sufficiently to do just for exercise. There are also some rather sublime experiences I've had such as being in a mudpit watching a tornado gobble up a huge sandpile or a beautiful blue burning meteor that flew right overhead while at a quarry at night or the incredible vista after Jeeping to where I parked to access a clay mine mudpit.

Cleaning up (it always takes so long) and the post-nut clarity Especially the times when I've just gone for a sink with zero preparation, and now find myself neck deep in mud having just had the biggest orgasm of my life, realising I'm now going to have to get back home somehow while completely covered in wet mud. (I try to avoid this these days...)

One should recognize that most people do not parttake in everythng this subect might include. Some like sinking, some like watching videos, some write stories, sme read stories,some do artwork, and some just lurk.
