TV Show idea

I got an idea for a TV show from this clip of a brazil tv show. (Similar clips posted in the past)

I had a brainstorm while watching this and other clips of the show. Consider a slightly different version of this show (for where ever you may reside) where there are several pools of varying sizes and creators find several people for each episode and in each episode say 5 people start from one side of the pool and then must walk across. Reason being for walking is to cause the contestants to actually sink, adding enjoyment for viewers
and difficulty for contestants. On to the size of the pools. The first pool (largest) will be the easiest (although actual difficultly won't exactly be easy) and in each pool the last person to make they're way across and out of the pool will be eliminated. Each pool gets smaller (due to contestant elimination) and more difficult to escape from. The 5th and smallest pool will be the most difficult to escape from. This pool can serve as a bonus round for the final contestant. To win more money or whatever the creators care to give away (aside from the good time )
Another idea to change the winning bracket slightly is have 5 groups of 5 or 25 contestants go through the first pool and then follow the above elimination rules. So to explain episode one will be 5 people at a time in pool #1 then episode 2 would be 4 people in pool #2 and so on and so forth. Then finally one last large pool with all the finalists from each group in the most difficult pool to win a prize ranging from 5th place to 1st.
Inase anyone is curious as to how I came up with this I got the inspiration from watching the clip and wishing I could see the women struggling to make their own way out.
Good idea? Bad idea? Care to add more to my idea? I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts
