I'd guess with regards to paid actresses very rarely (if never) on the sexual excitement side of things although I imagine there is always some trepidation stepping into a bog for the first time?

I looked at Kristine's "white bra and panty" sink again today. A fantastic natural scene, this MPV product still ranks as my Number One Quicksand Scene.

Yes, Kristine is acting; however, you can also tell she is physically struggling against the thick, heavy mud and that it actually is physically restraining her.

- The "popping" and "slurping" sounds the mud makes as she tries lifting her feet out or as she sinks in are real and are evidence of the suction or vacuum formed around her feet and legs as she sinks in. So, in this scene she really is struggling to some extent against the mud.

- Also, that mud was thick enough and sticky enough to tax her strength. A lot of the grunts and pants you hear from her are from her genuine exertion, and if you have the ability on a VCR or DVD to slow it down enough, you can see the exertion and efforts of her muscle and neck flexes, as well as her facial expressions, all of which show her true physical efforts against the mud.

Yes, in many Quicksand Scenes I've scene by these wonderful producers, the ladies are acting and, in many cases, are doing a pretty darn good job. However, there does exist scenes were the actress is sinking with her legs straight down versus kneeling, that she is truly stuck to some extent, and that it's a darn good thing that there was a camera crew there to help since, otherwise, some of these gals would not be able to get loose on their own.

So, in some cases it's a little bit of both. Hope this helps.

As for the fear element, I've never felt any real insecurity while sinking. Sometimes I've been there enough that I think I'm getting to where I know certain mudpits as well as I know my house. I'm not freaked out by my own living room either, so every time I do a traditional Hollywood drama-panic-sinking-submersion thing, yes, that is an act. However, since I have strong preferences as to what I want to see in traditional quicksand scenes, I do draw on that, and I'd like to think that my very familiarity with a mudpit can help me sink more convincingly.

As for the arousal part, I never describe that in detail on that although obviously, as a fetishist, sometimes it comes up, and sometimes it doesn't.

Sometimes I have filmed scenes and only considered them arousing much later. This can happen especially when I film something specifically because I like to watch that exact thing, and so I go out of my way to make a scene featuring it. One example of that would be the clip that MPV now is selling, "White Lace At Poison Sumac Bog". I do not go under recreationally and it doesn't arouse me to do that. But, boy, do I ever like to WATCH submersions!

So while actually filming this, I was not affected since I was concentrating on getting this to look the way I wanted. I had also had a recent incident where I'd been bothered by a man near that spot. So I brought a "path guard", and that meant that I could not stay to play (and feed the fetish properly).

When I got the edit done, though, I really liked the way that outfit looked in the peat bog. It was a white blouse with white lace sleeves and while I don't know what anybody else thinks of that kind of thing in mud, to me that is the hottest sinkwear imaginable. And that's one of the weirder experiences I've had doing videos: It doesn't happen all that much but when I turn myself on, that messes with my head.

Are they really ever aroused? Dunno, but they sure give that impression sometimies.

Are they ever really frightened? In my experience not about going under or getting into any real trouble with the mud. However, a few have been upset about such things as snakes, bees, or other flying objects.

What he said but maybe a little more often than you might think. Newbies, especially in the wild, tend more toward fright the first time or two. Sometimes always but that the way they like it. When you get a busy, working, model who keeps asking to come back every time you know she's enjoying more than just taking a shower six times a day.

During filming of a scene at Studio 588, Nyssa Nevers was performing in the peat pit. During a cut, she needed to change her position in the bog for better camera angles. She tried to move the first time, and couldn't. She tried again, and unexpectedly sank a few inches deeper. Her eyes got as big as saucers then this huge grin spread across her face and she laughed that evil-ish laugh of hers. I dare say that in those ten or fifteen seconds, she did experience both those feelings. As to what happens while the camera is rolling, I also will leave that to the readers' imaginations.
