Super Bowl Chat Party

For anyone out there not already attending a Super Bowl Party on Sunday, and especially everyone in quicksandland who could not care less about American Football, the Quicksandfans chatroom wll be open (its always open) and manned. You can talk about football if you like or not talk abouot football. Hey we might even make a passing mention of quicksand.

For what its worth, way back when our community chatroom was an IRC channel called #WAM_Quicksand we had a Super Bowl party and set the all time record for total participants and total participants in the chat at one time, at least from the time I became involved (about 2000 or 2001 or so). Since that time the simultaneous attendance record of 14 has been approached but never tied, so drop in and help break the record.

Nah. Last year I sat up until 3am watching the game - but since the Saints made a mess of things against the Seahawks (damn) I think I'll go to bed at a more sensible hour this time.

As a LIFELONG SAINTS FAN; it's STILL painful to think about how my team screwed up against the Seachickens! If I wasn't already committed to attending a Super Bowl Party; I would DEFINITELY make it to the big chat party!
