Quicksand Fans

I honestly wish you luck but based on the past experience of other members you will receive several offers. All from guys or guys pretending to be what you are looking for.

One further piece of advice (probably goes without saying but.....) would be to meet somewhere public first. It's a great way to sort out the fakers from the real people. After posting pictures of my sinking spot to DS (back when DS didn't suck) I got an offer from a "girl" who wanted to "hook up" for a sink. I said sure but lets meet somewhere first and get to know each other.....that was the end of that conversation. Apparently the douchebag thought I'd be stupid enough to just give away the location of a prime sinking spot, show up there expecting boobs, and not be at all upset when I found a dude.

Any biological female who is willing to go straight to the mudpit without meeting up first has no brain cells to speak of.

So use your own...and meet up first.

I clearly know how you feel. I was in the same boat as Mynock. Apparently, some real attractive girl living only 1/2 hour away from me was chatting with me on how she sunk in quicksand here and wanted to meet up. Taking Nessie's advise, I was interested in meeting socially first but she stated let's just meet at the quicksand pit she discussed. "She" was very convincing and was familiar with all the locations, but it kept dragging on and on until I came to the conclusion that this wasn't real. Besides Nessie, I don't know any other female on this site who talks about her quicksand experiences or is interested as well. Maybe we can spread the word and find interested females like Nessie (even in a group capacity), but not holding my breath on this.

I agree with most everyone else in saying that finding a sinking partner will be, at best, challenging!

A number of years ago I did find someone to go sinking with. And this was a real woman, and not someone that was putting on a show! We met, talked, and then decided to try out one of my favourite mudpits. To my surprise, she really ended up being an excellent sinking partner.

But her husband put the kibosh on the sinking. I wasn't even trying to make it into anything other than platonic sinking, but he had issues with it. So after than first time we just agreed to not do it again. Pity, as she enjoyed it as much, or even more, than I did!

I guess we really need to work on cloning research so that we can have more beautiful women like Nessie around that enjoy sinking!

I don't need extra girls for me. I never had even one female sinking partner. (It is true that I sank with one model, for one of Kaol's shoots, but that's not the same thing.)

There were eight mud partners in all. Seven were from this community. One was an outsider who is not familiar with us but he did find Fred's Clay to be a pretty intense experience anyway.

Finances are partly to blame for me no longer looking, because if they can't come to me, I can't go anyway.

But there are some personal issues too. Over the years I got very independent. When that happened, I quit looking for men to provide me with things. Because that is what happens when you start out...you tend to choose people who can help you and eventually I quit needing that.

So the last three mud outings I had were with guys who I already I knew well and I didn't need to take anything from them at all. I simply chose to go sinking with them as companions, because I wanted to sink with them more than I wanted to do it alone.

I've gone around many times on the question of why women don't look for men here the way men look for women. I don't have an answer. I have known a handful of real women that I believe have a genuine interest in this, but they seem to be either in relationships that don't allow for them to have sinking partners, or if they are not, they do not appear to find the idea of meeting men from quicksand forums to be attractive.

It never made much sense to me. Looking here cannot be worse than using personal ads or dating services. And if you found somebody here, you would at least know that you had one thing in common!

I may be weird here, but I could actually go sink with another guy around, provided it wasn't a guy that was going to start groping me or somesuch as soon as we were in mud. I've had exactly 1 outing with a guy along, but he was acting as guide, and all he was able to find was knee deep stuff, though I must admit it stank beyond any mud I've ever been in. (Along the great salt lake in Utah)

I think another person along can really help for safety's sake, provided the other person is thinking of you as a teammate, rather than as an unwilling sex partner of some kind. I've been around guys that wouldn't take "no" for an answer, and it was not a fun thing. One guy persisted while I walked for several miles in Long Beach, CA. I finally got rid of him via threats and yelling at an intersection. Later, when I happened to tell this story to a JAG attorney, I was told that it would have been difficult to defend me even striking this guy just one time, despite his laying hands on me against my will. I would *not* have wanted to be out at some quarry with that guy!

Imagine, to begin with this is far more a male fantasy than it is a female fantasy. Then, add to that the fact that most guy's are going to be bigger than the typical gal, and just think of how likely one of the female sinkers is to want to go jump in some private mudpit with a strange guy.

Meet anyone before you go investing a lot of typing with them. If that means travel, then you might just want to give the idea up unless they have a webcam and you can do video chatting. (and insist they are 18+, too!)

The other thing that works is just finding a girlfriend with an open mind. I've admitted my interest to all 5 or 6 of the "seriousish" relationships I've been in. Worst response I ever got was a shrug and a "hey, whatever turns you on". People can be more open minded then you think, and compared to some of the other "interests" out there, we're really not that weird.

An alternative is to use an existing friend, male or female, who is ok with the mud thing but not interested in participating. Give them a map or sufficient directions to find you in case if something goes wrong and set a time that will give you a few hours to play before calling them to let them know you're all done. If you don't call, they need to come look for you immediately or summon help, whatever arrangement works for you. Just be sure that you are 100% findable from your directions and that your friend is reliable for such situations.

This is probably a safer way to handle this than relying on a female who you do not actually know. For all you know, she may panic if something happens and either run away or get lost herself rather than helping you. Or have some agenda of her own such as having her boyfriend waiting out there somewhere for you.

Trust is what you're looking for and experience is the foundation upon which trust is built.
