Ventured in the quarry lake

Yes, I did it. Also this afternoon I went back to the quarry. I headed there earlier and sun was burning my skin so what’s best than plunging your bare body into some fresh creamy clay?
After spending some quality time in the pit, out of curiosity, I climbed on to muddy shore of quarry lake and stepped into watery clay. What a delusion nothing to be excited about :( I expected to sink in deeper mud but I haven’t managed to hit more that waist… So I headed back to the pit and kept playing and relaxing in that :D I took some pictures for you to look at. Enjoy. And I hope you guys are so kind to share similar, first hand, stories from your books.

p.s. be careful when venturing in quarry lakes since they can be bottom less

I guess that was an abandoned quarry? Judging by all the growing vegetation. :) Wish I could find some unused quarries near my area.

This looks very familiar to me? Where is it located (just a general idea... don't want to give out too many secrets!).

You have some nice stuff there. I love that smooth creamy clay. I miss it...just don't have much of that where I am!

The top photo shows some fine scenery too. It's a good-looking quarry.

On your "p.s.", when it comes to quarries, I mostly never knew of one on public land and therefore, I would definitely fret about trespassing...but never do I fret about "bottomless", no problem, I can handle that!

I found a quarry near my Massivian flood plain area. I can see something slick and wet down at the bottom of where they're digging...and that fence around it is mighty high...with mean signs on it.
