A Touchy Discussion

Although I'm sure that this topic has come up more then once before, I wanted to know everyones opinion on the matter.

After just recently purchasing the "How to get your Wife or Girlfriend in Quicksand" scene on Club MPV, I couldn't help but just feel intrigued by it. For those who have not seen it, the video stars Embre and Robert (AKA. Luckiest SOB on EARTH!) doing a scene in which they attempt to add a little spice in the relationship via sinking together is QS/Deep Mud. Which has had me thinking the past couple of days as to whether I'm the only one who feels this way about Male/Female quicksand scenes. So in saying that I would like to head some opinions in the matter and possibly find out what everyone likes/wants to see and even possibly set something up for future scenes. Not that I have anything against our lovely models by any means, I just wanna see what people think.
So lets hear it everybody, would you want to see more M/F scenes and if so what theme would you most like to see (eg. Erotic, Dramatic, Playful, etc.)

As you can see I have also added a poll just to try and get an idea of whether or not a majority of the members are interested or not.

Well, I said yes, but unfortunately it probably wouldn't change anything in my case.

Why? Well, while erotic sinks are interesting, my true interest in Quicksand is the damsel-in-danger aspect of it... give me a dramatic scene over an erotic one most any day. In the same vein, as I want to see the woman in peril (or as convincingly as possible), if there's a man in the scene I would want to see him as the "bad guy" in the situation. I mean, the REALLY bad guy. As in, maybe he sinks with her, but he pushes/pulls her under and climbs out; he escapes, she blows bubbles.

The dominance/victimization is very big to me. I'd be the type that would want to see a full-on scene with no holds barred, something along the lines of what AcidTester would draw. Meaning actual sex, and preferably (as far as the script goes) with the woman raped or coerced into the act by a false promise to spare her.

In other words, if there's to be a man and a woman in the quicksand, I would want them to both be nude and going at it. As in, not soft porn, but hard porn. Hell, if she's in bondage too, even better.

So. To summarize: I said "Yes, men with the women," but the stuff I'd like to see produced won't ever be. Even with it being just acting, what I would like to see would be far too brutal and hardcore for any of the lovely sinking models to accept.

Count me in as a "Yes" for male-female.

The only erotic scenes that interest me are either solo sinkers or male-female. For a solo sinker I have a strong preference for male, partly because I'm a girl and I like guys generally, and partly because, since a mud clip featuring a man nearly always features a member of our community, I know that what I am seeing is real.

Some girl models have done okay by me on their solo sinkings, though. Jenna's torchlight sink in the white sparkly evening gown was pretty awesome.

There are very few things in Real Life that I want to do less than a love scene with another girl in quicksand but I'm totally desensitized to looking at this. There is a great deal of it around here and it's not like I cannot understand why men like it...because...

I've never seen a guy-with-guy erotic mud scene...would I like to?

Uh, it's a "no" for me.

While the idea of male/female interactions in quicksand is an appealing idea for some people, I find the subject matter quite repulsive. I enjoy the fetish because it is a voyeuristic and masturbatory fetish; you watch someone in quicksand, you watch someone in quicksand get off, or you get off in quicksand. Personally, I focus more on the voyeuristic pleasures of watching people sink erotically and/or willingly into the abyss.

As for the girl-girl and guy-guy offshoot tangent, there are dozens of sites that produce high-quality material that, given the right motivation, may convince their "actors/actresses" to "perform" in a deep pit of mud/quicksand; I'm sure that MPV and Studio 588 would be more that happy to "lend" their sets to these groups, given the correct price. (As for the motivation, try spamming them with "hints" that there IS an audience for said material.)

Was the reaction to "How to" overwhelming? Certainly not vocally. However, sales are telling a little different story and it is comments like yours that lead me to believe that there is a market for it for the courageous souls willing to admit it and those who choose to not.

Ummm...no, at least its highly unlikely. Robert and Pam are perfectly postioned, for a number of reasons not immediately obvious to most, to pursue this. While it's not my personal thing I hope they do because there are obviously some out there who would be interested. It would also be great to see in real terms if the market would really put its money where its mouth is.

As for the "spamming" suggestion, that's not a good idea. You might create a false buzz that might get you something in the short term but if market demand really isn't there it will only divert resources away from what keeps producers going.

Everyone seems to be qualifying their vote with a comment or two so I will chime in and explain why I voted yes. I very much enjoyed the dramatic scenes of my youth and these helped to shape my interest in quicksand related peril. Often the 'damsel in distress' would be rescued by a Tarzan or Indiana Jones type and that added to the 'here comes the cavalry' endings typical of older films. It was all part of the fun. Seeing a nasty villain get his just desserts for pushing the poor girl in also appeals to my penchant for justice. Including males in today's vids seems appropriate in this light though I'm not really a fan of male peril nor male eroticism. There's nothing I like more than watching a beautiful woman in peril while a man, oblivious to her dilemma, does his taxes or cleans garden tools (kinda like real life). My yes vote also allows for female members of the quicksand community who deserve to have their cake and eat it too. The thought of completely excluding wonderful souls like Nessie makes me shudder and I can put up with a few male glutes for her sake. No doubt there are some female sinkers out there who would enjoy a more egalitarian distribution of the wealth and though this site is, by definition, devoted to women in peril, it has been quite fair in it's acceptance of other views.

The inset of individual segments by PRP now available on Club MPV should prove the real market value by not having to buy a whole DVD to get something like that or loosing sales on the DVD because it is on there.

In the first month "How to Get Your Wife into Quicksand" has sold more then I thought it would. We shall see if July sales continues this trend. We would be encouraged to make more such male/female segments if it does.

I think a mixed M/F sink clip would be good if done in one of several genres. I like the jungle rescue, at the last second. It's what pulled me in as a kid, pre-sexual awareness and all that. I also think a romantic "let's go sinking together," if well done could be a kicking video story. Like others have said (Nessie, I understand you're on the other side of the fence), a guy sinking does very little for me. There has to be a story to tie the two partners together. My two cents ...
