After much thought, I decided to go with boot-foot "hunting" waders rather than stocking-foot "fishing" waders. In the unlikely event I get stuck, I can slip out of the waders. Not planning on using them except on my place anyway. Should be here in a week, and I plan to get some video of me trying them out in the North Pond. BTW, did some exploring this week, and the boggy part of the North Pond is larger and deeper than I suspected. Just needs some TLC- remove brush, open up a hole in the grassy cover, work it a lot. . .
It's a tough job, but somebody has to do it. In a perfect world, I would order up a couple of fetish models to do the working-in for me.
