Well, I've already seen 2 posts about Florida today, but here's a 3rd.
I recently moved to the Jacksonville area but I'm not sure if there's any good spots around. Can anybody point me in a good direction? All help is appreciated

The spoils here would be great if you had a boat. I've seen it from the air, and it is so tempting. Huge cracked/dry mud expanses leading to moist sections.

That looks heavenly. Have you tried the tidal mud flats here, yet? They look nice. I haven't had the chance to, though. :/

Also, I could have been more specific. I'm in Flemming Island/Orange County.

No, haven't had the chance to find/experience any deep mud here yet.

Where is that southern bridge? I'm trying to find it on Google maps because I just might go there this weekend.

i went to the intercoastal water way around pontè vedra beach, on butler blvd by the duval st. johns coumty line, and although it was a fun experience, it was super thick in one spot and i lost my shoes trying to get out, if i had tried to get out with my shoes on, i would have drowned cause of the tides even with my boyfriend there to dig me out.
it was fun i submerged twice, my boyfriend wussed out at his chest, but then again he's new to this

ok so yes i always check the tides
the privacy depends on whose out on the water at the time, and also you can go. to the mud thats hidden in the tall grassy areas, just dont get too close to the homes on the edge of the river, its awsome!
and by the way... i am a guy
im bi soooooooooo
yea
