No mud here... or is there?
Hi, I live in Missouri in town called Wentzville. It's right between St. Louis and Troy. I can't seem to find any mud in this area... can anyone help?
Where's the mud at?

I found some at the edge of a lake. I don't know how deep it is, but I can get it to knee deep. But if I struggle more....
A negative: There's algae surrounding. It's kinda gross...

It won't hurt you but too much green on top of my mud bugs me too. Get a spatula or a big spoon or something, and just skim it off the top.

Darn...
I went to that spot, and then I heard voices. I looked up and at the top of the hill I saw people. I got nervous, and left.

ARRRGH! I hate it when that happens.
Don't give up. They probably won't be there next time. I am trying to mentally emit some "good vibes" toward your next attempt.

Mudman, use every quicksander's best friend (well, should be) Google Earth!
If you scout along the length of any nearby rivers, as well as lakes, and any small streams feeding into it, you should find some good spots.
If you'd like me to search for you, PM me, I'll have a look, and reply with coordinates of any promising looking spots.
