Quicksand Fans

just wondering if anyone knows of anything nearby?.... im sort of stuck,.. ive been exploring the area for a while but im limited by the fact that i can only go as far as my bycicle can carry me,....its a long shot i know as most of you are from over the pond,. but i was just wondering if anyone can give me some pointers towards the location of some deep stuff around the area

I live near London and haven't been up that way for ages and ages, but if it's of any use I do remember when I was about 13 (am now 34 so it was a looonngg time ago!) I was riding my bike along Skegness beach (the area near the Butlins holiday camp) at low tide and I suddenly hit a really soft mud-flat, the bike got bogged down, so I had to get off and I ended up sinking about knee deep... the first and only sinking experience of my life so far! I managed to rescue my bike though

As I say though, that was a long, long time ago and even if that mud-flat still exists there are probably much better areas than that around!

i have indeed herd that there is some good mud around the skegness beach area,.. unfortunalty its couple of hours away from notts,.. not sure i can cycle that far lol!
