Quicksand Fans

That is, the Québec Solidaire party, which didn't do too bad for a relatively new one...

I did find it amusing as election results were scrolling by on the Canadian news channels to see "QS" and "QS Party" keep cropping up so prominently...

Here are a few quotes from an actual news story on the election and how the QS Party did... maybe it's just me, but it was interesting to think of someone actually forming a Quicksand Party....

"QS matures as political party"

Gives committed voters something to sink into...

"With a platform built on progressive, environmental and feminist principles, QS campaigned as an alternative to the Parti Québécois's controversial identity politics."

Obviously, their platform must be "increased opportunities for more girls sinking proudly in natural quicksand!"

"Popular support for QS shot up during the campaign, especially in downtown ridings on the island of Montreal."

Considering the potholes which are infamous in Montreal, maybe quicksand is a more pleasant alternative...

That's pretty funny.

If we had only a QS Party here in America, it'd cut down on the BS, especially if the party platform dictated that each candidate was required to walk into a quicksand pit every time they are caught in a lie!

(And they don't get to change clothes first either. I want to see expensive clothing ruined in quicksand!)
