Quicksand Fans

Hi All,

Due to a suggestion by Fred, and some diligent work by Kookus, I'm pleased to point out a new posting feature for Quicksand Fans.

When posting a new topic, or making a reply, members will notice a new button at the right hand end of the row of buttons. It's labelled 'url_new'.

It works like the regular URL button, except the link that is created with it will spawn a new browser window or tab, leaving the QSF site page readable.

Ah, that's great!

I've gotten into the habit of always right clicking links and choosing the option to open in a new tab, because having them replace whatever you are currently reading is undesirable about 75% of the time. If only ALL forums had this feature you've just added!

HOLY SHIT HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THAT.

When browsing the internet I only ever scroll the mouse wheel, never knew that clicking the middle button did anything (except in computer games).
